HOW TO SAVE WATER-DAMAGED PHOTOS
Here are some simple steps you can take to help save your water-damaged photos:

1. Handle carefully. Do not touch image area.

2. If photos are stuck together, do not pull apart but soak in clean water until they loosen. If photos are stuck in frames or albums, take a picture of the picture first, then place under a gentle stream of cold, clean water until they loosen.

3. Rinse photos in a container of clean, cold water. Again, do not touch image area.

4. Dry photos by laying flat on absorbent white paper towels (without print), changing towels hourly until photos are dry. Consider weighting corner tips to prevent curling. Use a fan or dehumidifier in room to circulate air and reduce humidity.
